Work Description

Company Overview:

Sapience Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on discovering and developing peptide-based therapeutics to previously ‘undruggable’ targets for major unmet medical needs, particularly high mortality cancers. Sapience’s technology acts by disrupting specific protein-protein interactions required for the regulation of key oncogenic and immune-modulatory proteins at the transcriptional level, allowing for targeting of intracellular proteins previously viewed as 'undruggable' due to their lack of enzymatic activity or ligand binding.

Position Summary:

We are expanding our team and are seeking a Research Associate/Research Technician to join our Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls Group (CMC) to support Sapience’s therapeutic discovery and development efforts. You will be in the company of self-motivated and collaborative individuals who are dedicated to our work, while also supporting your growth as a scientist.

Activities will include synthetic and analytical activities to progress peptide drug candidates from early discovery through to clinical trials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate careful lab practices, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and practice new techniques.
